During February 2008 the amount of passengers coming in and going out
through the Daniel Oduber airport in Guanacaste Costa Rica, was 49.459. This represents an
increase of a 15% compared to February 2007.
During February 2008 the amount of passengers coming in and going out
through the Juan Santamaría airport in San Jose Costa Rica, was 288.696. This represents an
increase of a 20% compared to February 2007.
The total number passengers for the 2 airports for February 2008 was
338.155. This represents an increase of a 19% compared to February
2007.
This confirms that the amount of passengers coming to Costa Rica is
still increasing. For Guanacaste we can expect an anual increase
between 10% to 12%
